Our liveliest tradition: community teams compete across a long afternoon of dominoes, food and music on the lawns.

Teams enter from across St James, and the brackets run from noon until the light goes. The slamming can be heard from the gate.

There is food, music and a trophy that the winning district keeps for the year, and argues about for the rest of it.

Every dollar raised goes to the Back to School Programme, so the loudest day of the year pays for the quietest kind of good.
