Every November at the park

Blessing of the Graves.

An annual service of remembrance in the gardens.

Each November, families gather in the gardens with clergy of every denomination to bless the graves and remember together.

The park stays open into the evening. Clergy from across the parish move through the gardens, and every grave that a family asks after is blessed by name.

Candles are provided at the gate. Many families bring flowers in the morning and return at dusk for the service itself.

If you would like your loved one remembered by name this year, call the office ahead of the service and we will add them to the reading.
